Projekt BUSINESS2ACT sa zameriava na zvyšovanie energetickej konkurencieschopnosti a udržateľnosti európskych podnikov v priemyselnom sektore a sektore služieb, kde priemysel tvorí približne 24,6 % a služby 13,5 % konečnej energetickej spotreby v EÚ. BUSINESS2ACT reaguje na dominantné postavenie MSP v EÚ tým, že im ponúka praktické riešenia na premenu výsledkov energetických auditov na konkrétne a ekonomicky zmysluplné investície.

Projekt BUSINESS2ACT je zameraný na posilnenie a motiváciu podnikov v priemyselnom sektore a sektore služieb pri ich prechode na čistú energiu a dosahovaní cieľov v oblasti dekarbonizácie. Jeho hlavným zámerom je poskytnúť firmám harmonizované nástroje, šablóny a metodiky pre efektívne zavádzanie systémov energetického manažérstva (EMS) a realizáciu opatrení na úsporu energie a využívanie obnoviteľných zdrojov odporúčaných v energetických auditoch.
BUSINESS2ACT je kľúčovým projektom pre Európsku úniu, pretože priamo podporuje implementáciu novej smernice o energetickej efektívnosti (EED) a pomáha plniť klimatické ciele pre roky 2030 a 2050 prostredníctvom posilnenej spolupráce medzi členskými štátmi. BUSINESS2ACT rieši zásadné výzvy, akými sú nízka miera realizácie odporúčaní z auditov, nejasnosti pri identifikácii firiem spadajúcich pod zákonné povinnosti a potreba vyčíslenia neenergetických prínosov energetických investícií. BUSINESS2ACT, založený na kooperatívnom prístupe, bude uplatňovať svoje výstupy prostredníctvom praktickej spolupráce so spoločnosťami, pričom do svojich aktivít v 15 krajinách EÚ zapojí najmenej 350 spoločností a 900 kľúčových zainteresovaných strán.
Počas nasledujúcich troch rokov projekt prinesie:
- Súbor identifikátorov, ktoré pomôžu firmám rozoznať ich povinnosti v oblasti energetických auditov.
- Online nástroj na samohodnotenie spotreby energie.
- Motivačné balíky šité na mieru potrebám podnikom pre zapojenie sa do zelenej transformácie.
- Príručka pre využite digitálnych technológií (inteligentné meranie, AI) na zvýšenie energetickej efektívnosti.
- Zosúladenie všetkých výstupov projektu s národnými a EÚ politikami, novou smernicou EED a relevantnými normami (EN/ISO), aby boli prakticky využiteľné v praxi, podporovali ESG/CSRD a uľahčili firmám prístup k financovaniu a implementácii opatrení.
- Praktický návod v podobe Akčného Plánu, ktorý pomôže podnikom premeniť energetické audity na investične zmysluplné opatrenia, lepšie zapojiť.

The BUSINESS2ACT project aims to empower and motivate businesses in the industrial and service sectors in their transition to clean energy to achieve their decarbonization goals. Its main objective is to provide companies with harmonized tools, templates and methodologies for the effective implementation of energy management systems (EMS) and the implementation of energy saving measures and the use of renewable sources recommended in energy audits. BUSINESS2ACT is a key project for the European Union, as it directly supports the implementation of the new Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and helps meet the 2030 and 2050 climate targets through enhanced cooperation between Member States.
BUSINESS2ACT addresses fundamental challenges such as the low rate of implementation of audit recommendations, and the need to quantify the non-energy benefits of energy investments. Grounded in a cooperative approach, BUSINESS2ACT will apply its strategies through hands-on collaboration with companies, involving at least 350 companies and 900 key stakeholders in activities across 15 EU countries.
Over the next three years, the project will bring:
- A set of indicators to help companies recognize their energy audit obligations.
- Online tool for self-assessment of energy consumption.
- Incentive packages tailored to the needs of businesses to participate in the green transition.
- Guide to using digital technologies (smart metering, AI) to increase energy efficiency.
- Harmonised results with national and EU policies, the revised EED Directive and relevant EN/ISO standards, enabling practical implementation, ESG/CSRD compliance, and improved access to financing.
- A practical guide in the form of an Action Plan to help businesses turn energy audits into investment-meaningful measures, better engage management and link energy savings with ESG, non-energy benefits and financing.
